Crossways Road finished!

The flats at Crossways Road are finally completed and the keys were handed over by Ian Gillespie of English Rural Housing Association to Teresa Jamieson, Chairman of G&DHA and Paul Hodges, Chairman of the Development Committee. A few people who had worked on, helped and supported with the development were invited to see inside the last four flats to be completed. Everyone agreed that the standard of finish was very high. Tenants have now moved in to the new Western Lodge that has replaced the old building that was demolished. The gardens are also complete except for some planned seating kindly donated by Hidden Gardens of Grayshott..

G&DHA is very pleased with the amazing outcome of this very ambitious project. It is a real credit to the many voluntary hours put in by the Board of Trustees ably assisted by our Housing Administrator. English Rural have acted as advisors throughout the whole process which has been a very positive experience. Feltham Construction had a challenging time building during the pandemic with a month shut down and a national shortage of materials.

Grayshott now has fourteen new quality Affordable flats in the centre of the village, supporting our community for years to come.
